Their recipe for success has three ingredients: an original idea, the help of the branch "Business creation" and a solid friendship. Mauro La Costa, Francesco Leone and Alexander Prato – all from Fossano area - are the owners of "Gelidea", workshop where they make homemade ice cream. The three started their activities for crafting homemade ice cream for bars and restaurants, but they also opened a shop in Via Roma (Fossano).
The workshop, opened in Busca, began his story in November 2011. Is Mr.Prato that addresses in particular the product. The ice cream must be good and creamy, but also a balanced proportion of the nutrients that compose it. And then, in a laboratory, there is a chance to experiment with new flavors and combinations groped.
They began to sell ice cream at the beginning of 2012. "Gelidea", which originated silently, quickly gained the trust of prestigious bars and restaurants. "At that point - explain the three - we thought a shop would be a good communication vehicle for what we were doing." The ice cream is called "Iano." Iano is the affectionate nickname by which Lucretia (Prato’s sister) called him when she was a child. The influx of customers is good.
